Project Outcome: The Regional Decision-Making Framework
The results from the three subregional meetings have been combined to create a standardized Regional Decision-Making Framework (DMF). This framework supports decision-making by the leaders of malaria-endemic African countries about the potential role of a future malaria vaccine within their health systems.
The Regional Decision-Making Framework document, a tool that describes the required data and processes for malaria vaccine introduction in the African region, was made available in January 2009.
